Motorola ATRIX HD MB886

Today we’ll be reviewing the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886. The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 is a fairly strong phone, however, it still has a bit of a way to go in order to reach the really powerful one. Still, what the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 lacks in power, it more than makes up for it in good looks. And while looks aren’t everything, keep in mind this is a “HD” phone. The phones that have HD in their name are usually more suited to handle powerful video-demanding games and apps as they are made specifically for such things. The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 is only available for AT&T, as many other Motorola phones are. This phone is literally covered in AT&T symbols everywhere. Mind you, that is a pretty good looking symbol and it makes it looks quite special. Since I don’t really want to waste much more time with long intros, let us commence this little review.

SUMMARY

As I mentioned in some of my previous articles, I will be starting my reviews off with a brief summary of the device in which I’ll try to sum up some of the good parts and some of the bad ones. However, if you truly want to find out more about this phone, I suggest you skip this part and move on to the review per say. The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 is a 4G phone, and a fairly strong one at that. This phone has a pretty decent hardware configuration and a good piece of software on it. The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 can function with just about any app and a wide variety of games. That’s all I’m going to say about this phone for this part, so let’s move on now to the review per say.

Next up we’ll be taking a look at the body of the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886. Here you can find out a thing or two about the size and weight of the device as well as find out whether or not the device has any particularities that might set it apart from the rest of the phones. The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 is around 133.5 x 69.9 x 8.4 mm big and it weighs somewhere around 140 grams. What makes the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 special is the fact that it it is a Splash Resistant phone. Since I’ve nothing left to say for this part, I say we move on now to the next part of the review.

Here you can find out a thing or two about the type of screen of the device, the screen size and the screen resolution and pixel density as well as see whether or not said device has any screen protection and any particularities that might set it apart from the rest of the phones. The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 has a TFT capacitive touchscreen with approximately 16 million colors. The screen size of this phone is around 4.5 inches and the resolution supported by said phone is around 720 x 1280 pixels. The pixel density of the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 is absolutely fabulous : it is around 326 ppi ( let me remind you that the human eye can only perceive up to 300 ppi, so this is as clear as it gets ). The Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 also has Multitouch on it, however, this is not the advanced sorts of Multitouch that can support more than two simultaneous fingers on it. The screen protection of the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 is a pretty good one too – Corning Gorilla Glass. Here you can find out a thing or two about whether or not the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 has any sound enhancements whatsoever on it, be them software-based or otherwise. I won’t go into any other info on this part as most people already know that all android phones can use anything as their Alerts and they all have a standard Loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm jack. Sadly, the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 has no sound enhancement whatsoever on it, so I can’t really talk too much about it. I guess you could say this phone is pretty basic as far as sound is concerned. Since I’ve nothing left to say here, let us move on now to the next part.

The RAM of this device is around 1 GB. By my standards that’s pretty good, however, it has come to my attention that this is no longer the maximum amount of RAM since a few phones with 2 GB were announced a while back. Since there’s nothing left to say here, let us move on now.

HARDWARE

Next up we’ll be taking a look at the hardware of the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886. Here you can find out a thing or two about the three main hardware components of the device : processor, motherboard and graphics card. Unfortunately, the Motorola ATRIX HD MB886 only has one of the three, and that is a processor – a Dual-Core 1.5 GHz processor, to be more exact.
