Galaxy S III – Android 4.2 Leaks

If you don’t own a Galaxy S3, chances are you aren’t aware of this, but the phone doesn’t necessarily have the latest version of the Android OS. However, now a new stable version of Android OS v4.2.2 has leaked for the Galaxy S3 and, if you have the know-how, you can get it and install it yourself. I personally am somewhat reluctant in getting new ROMs and usually wait a bit before getting them, but that’s just because I’m relatively slow to embrace new ideas. At the end of this article, I will post a small video that demonstrates a few of the things added in this new ROM ( they aren’t CRUCIAL differences, so don’t raise your expectations more than you need to ).

So far, it includes a new lockscreen as well as some new screen modes ( allowing you to tune the saturation and color accuracy and so forth ). Daydream, dividing mode and actionable notifications are also available now for the Galaxy S3. The list of updates also contains an updated S Voice, which is now integrated with more apps and supports a few more commands.

Now I won’t provide you with any link directly ( if you want it, search for it and find it – work a little for your keep ) since you may try to install it and fail terribly, thus not only voiding your warranty ( it happens if you try and install unofficial ROMs ), but also other consequences may occur. Also, I don’t think you should really go out on a leap and expect to find everything just fine and dandy and working without a glitch. After all, this isn’t the final version of the ROM ( usually Leaked stuff is Work-In-Progress stuff ) and is naturally accompanied with certain bugs here and there.

You can get it and install it if you like or are impatient enough not to wait for the final release, but know that if something bad happens, you have nobody else to blame but yourself. In the meantime, here is the video I have been speaking about:
