Sony Xperia Acro S

Today we’ll be taking a look at the Sony Xperia Acro S. This is a fairly powerful phone with a lot of features to its name. Of, and speaking of name, the Sony Xperia Acro S is also known as the Sony LT26w, for those of you who might have heard of it that way.

Since I don’t want to bore anyone with any long intros, let’s begin this little review of the Sony Xperia Acro S.

GENERAL

We’ll start off by taking a look at some of the more general aspects of the Sony Xperia Acro S. Here you can find out a bit about the supported networks and the announcement and release dates. The Sony Xperia Acro S uses both 2G and 3G networks. Those networks are as following : GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 ( the 2G ones ) and HSDPA 850, HSDPA 900, HSDPA 1900 and HSDPA 2100 ( the 3G ones ). The Sony Xperia Acro S was announced in May 2012 and is expected to come out world-wide somewhere around Q3 of 2012. That’s about it for the general stuff, let’s move on now.

The Sony Xperia Acro S also has an Advanced Multitouch which can support up to 10 simultaneous fingers on it. This phone also has a very special means of protection : Scratch-Resistant Shatter Proof Glass. The Sony Xperia Acro S also has the Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine on it. It’s not a removable battery, right?

  2. Not really, no …
This phone has an embedded battery in it.
Now it all depends on whether you prefer it this way, or if you’d rather have the old system with the removable batteries. Both have their ups and downs, however.
