HTC One X+ Update

It would have appeared that HTC’s focus was mostly the HTC One as that was the main money-earner, but this latest move would suggest that the rest have not been forgotten. The HTC One X+, as the name of this article suggests, has received an update as well – an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with a HTC Sense 5 topping on it.

As it was to be expected, the update brings some sweet features to the One X+ owners. Such is the BlinkFeed homescreen, one of the newest features, whiich has been present on all recent high-end smartphones of the Taiwanese company. There’s also a new lockscreen to go with it and it goes by the name “electronic gadgets”.

The battery endurance has been reported to have also improved thanks in no small part to a new sleep mode switch. Users can easily keep track of the battery by turning on the percentage battery meter in the status bar. Since this is Android 4.2.2 we’re talking about, the Quick Setting panel is also present and can be accessed by a two-finger swipe downwards.

The camera has also been slightly updated. A long tap on the camera UI screen locks exposure and focus. HTC has also included the video highlights feature, a feature which allows you to choose from 12 kinds of music theme styles and easily make a quick 30 seconds video.

In order to get this most recent update, either check the update screen or just use HTC Sync Manager and see whether or not the update is available for your region yet.
