An unofficially released official Android OS update

With all the new phones coming out, you’d think Galaxy S is kind of “yesterday’s news”. Well if you think like that, you’re wrong.

Apparently, a newer version of the Android OS for the Galaxy S has been released. This is a clear sign that the Koreans at SAMSUNG have not forgotten about their previous anchor head.

This NEW version of the Android OS elevates the version number to 2.5.3 and was leaked just a few hours ago. It is however, still in a “beta” sort of state. So upgrading to it is in many ways unwanted since it can void warranties and the flashing process in itself could have dire consequences.

According to official reports, it doesn’t offer many new modifications but every user is free to install it whenever they want, although they would be doing it at their own risk.

Install it only if you know what you are doing.
