Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III

Today we’ll be taking a quick, but detailed, glance at the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III. This device is the apex of mobile technology as far as phones are concerned. This is the ultimate Android device for the time being. It has the best performance, OS, features and so on available. I doubt that something will be able to equal it in the near future. Perhaps in Q4 of 2012 there MIGHT be something out to equal this phone, although knowing Samsung they’ll just start creating different versions of the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III that are much more powerful than the original. Such was the case with the Galaxy S II : they released so many versions of it that the current one, Skyrocket I believe, is still pretty good even for now. I regret to say that the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III isn’t that much of a looker, since they went with the “less is more” approach on this one. Still it looks stunningly well in both colors, but the aspect isn’t the key point of this device.

GENERAL

We’ll begin by taking a look at the more general features of the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III. In this part you can find out about the supported networks and the announcement and release dates. The supported networks for the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III are numerous. They include all of the three : 2G, 3G and 4G. The networks are exactly like so : GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 ( the 2G ones ), HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 ( the 3G ones ) and LTE ( the 4G one ), however the LTE network may not work everywhere in the world as it is region specific for this phone. The Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III was announced in May 2012 and is expected to come out later the same month – May 2012. If that doesn’t come true, I think it’s safe to assume that somewhere in Q2 of 2012 we’ll be seeing this device in stores all over. Moving on to the next part of the review.

The screen of the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III is around 4.8 inches big and can house a resolution of approximately 720 x 1280 pixels. The pixel density of the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III is phenomenal : 306 ppi. Anything  that exceeds 300 is the highest quality possible perceived by the human eye. The Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III also has Multitouch on it, as most Android devices. The protection for the S III’s screen is extremely powerful – Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Wondering how that is ? Picture Gorilla Glass and multiply it by two. The Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III also has TouchWiz UI v4.0 installed on it, should you choose to activate it. That’s enough for the display, let us move on.

The Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III has the following alert types : vibration, MP3 and WAV ringtones. The S III also has a Loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm jack. It’s very similar to infrared data transfer as we used to do half a decade ago, but it’s way faster than any Bluetooth connection and can be used to make all sorts of transfers, not just files. I believe in certain place you can use your smartphone as a bank card or such to make payments or transfer funds without all the hassle usually implied by said process.
